Are you the next “Cinch Idol?”
It is finally a reality! An American Idol for everyone who is 35 years or older!
That’s Right! Forget about the Justin Beibers and Lady Ga(GAG)s, and make room for the erstwhile Tony Bennetts and Lena Hornes who will be moving their acts from the cozy confines of the shower to center stage on . . . drum roll please . . . Cinch Idol!
Powered by Blog Talk Radio, Cinch is a free and easy way to create and share audio, text and photo updates using your phone or computer.
Cinch enables you to capture and report on your experiences in a way that simple text just can’t do. Using a simple interface, you can make and broadcast your content creations through Facebook, Twitter, CinchCast.com and more.
And NOW, Cinch can be your vehicle to fame and untold riches – okay maybe not fame and untold riches but, you will be featured in a special Valentine’s Day segment of the PI Window Show on Blog Talk Radio. Just think, and similar to your courting days with your significant other, you can serenade your love while reaching millions of listeners!
Add in a nice dinner and a bottle of cheap wine, and throw an artificial log on the fire and who knows where the evening will go.
Entry is quick and easy (and did we say free!). Simply Join Cinch (or sign-in using either your Facebook or Twitter account) and belt out a tune. Once recorded, simply forward the link to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can enter as many times as you like so record an album if you are so moved.
A panel of experts will pick the top five performances on January 31st, 2011 so be sure to note that entries close on January 30th, 2011 at 5:00 PM EST.
Once the top five performances have been selected, we will then leave it up to the voting public to decide which of the five will be the next Cinch Idol.
All five finalist submissions will of course be played on the February 14th show, with the winner being announced at the end of the broadcast. Oh, the winner will also receive a $100 Gift Card.
Now while some of you may be a little shy, no worries as just before Christmas I took the bold step of recording a “once in a lifetime” rendition of Winter Wonderland. Suffice to say I did not set the performance bar very high (which is why the only recording deal I was ever offered was to cut a record with a saw).
Here’s the link to Winter Wonderland, now sign on, and sing out as you are bound to do much better!
